About Me
Hello, friends! My name is Nicole👋🏼
I’m no stranger to creating things on the internet. I used to blog as a teenager, then spent my university years vlogging before eventually stepping away from content creation altogether.
These days, I work full-time as a UI/UX designer. Life feels fuller and quieter, and I’ve found myself craving a slower, more private way to process what I’m learning. This blog is that space; a place to reflect, document, and think out loud.
When I’m not working or experimenting with crafts (crochet for now) and design (especially with AI), I’m either reading up on faith/psychology/health, learning a language (primarily Thai for now), taking a walk, travelling to Thailand for missions, or spending time with loved ones.
Most importantly, I am a Christian. My faith in Jesus is the lens through which I understand identity, purpose, work, and worth.

Frequently Asked Questions
People always ask me…
Why you got weird accent?
I spent the first ~8 years of my life overseas because of my dad’s work. I studied in an international school in Hong Kong and a British school in the Philippines before returning to Singapore in the middle of Primary 2. (My Chinese was terrible at first, but I’m happy to report that I ended my O-levels with a pretty decent B3🤭)
Even after nearly two decades back in Singapore, I never made a conscious effort to adopt a Singlish accent. It wasn’t resistance as much as it was indifference; my accent simply settled into what felt natural.
I have wondered whether I should try to sound more Singaporean, but since my accent has only ever prompted harmless curiosity, I’ve been content to leave it as it is. (Although I once had a Junior College teacher ask if I was faking my accent during a project work presentation…)
It’s amusing that my accent still sounds mixed after all this time (someone once said it sounds like a Korean American’s accent), but I’ve come to like it😊
What nationality/race are you?
I’m a Singaporean Chinese. Both my parents are Singaporean Chinese as well.
Why did you stop content creation on YouTube?
I want to live a quieter and more private life. Not everything I do needs to be documented, and not every moment has to be captured on camera. Stopping YouTube content creation has helped me be more present😊
